The fashion industry was hit very hard during the 2008 recession; and in 2010, we were still reeling. In what turned out to be our biggest Trend Event, we pulled together a panel to discuss best-practices in a down-turn. We moved the event from the usual country club and retail store setting, to a brand new downtown movie theater and nixed the fashion show. We were reinventing. It worked. My email invite.
